Description
Seminar Themes
Leaders tend to be evaluated and remembered for what they have accomplished. But so much of what they accomplish depends on those they lead.
Relationship is a key part of leadership, if not the very foundation of it. Yet leaders rarely have the opportunity to explore how their relationships are working both for and against them.
This programme gives leaders and aspiring leaders a chance to take a comprehensive look at their relationships, and to discover ways to grow in themselves, in their connection with others, and with the world at large.
In exploring the transformational power of 'the Alchemy of Love', we will engage all the important levels of relationship, notably our relationships with
- Ourselves
- Others – one-to-one
- Nature and the environment
- The Divine
- Groups and organizations
- The larger planetary system of which we are part
Orienting Themes:
- Tuning into Nature's Way, 'The Way of Unfolding'
- The dynamic interplay of Being, Becoming, and Love
- The nature and power, the 'Alchemy' of love
- Fundamentals of 'Love in Action'
- Opening the heart
- Balancing mind and instinct with heart
- Five Keys to Personal Mastery
- Five Rhythms of the Creative Process
- Unfolding Creative Expression and Charisma
- Awareness Meditation
Our Approach
Our holistic approach to personal development and the unfolding of 'love in action' integrates best Western practice with traditional wisdom from the East.
During the seminar, we emphasize
personal learning and sharing through discussion, feedback in
pairs, small groups, and the community as a whole to stimulate reflection and open an honest exchange of experience. .
In encountering the magical power of the Alchemy of Love, we nourish
the body, celebrate the senses, listen to the heart. We touch both the erotic and compassionate faces of love. We embrace both shadow and light.
Finally, we also stimulate deep transformation and awakening
through visits to places of power and meaning from the rich history
of Cyprus.
A minimum of cognitive input orients understanding and supports
the self-unfolding individual and group process, while simple but powerful exercises and practices, help us
- deepen our understanding of what we encounter
- integrate physically & emotionally what we open
up to
- connect our experience to the unfolding of our life
as a whole
- open to our power and presence as individuals and as Leaders
In particular to enliven and unfold our full potential, we:
- Use meditation to connect with our centre and Source
- Stimulate the natural creative expression of that Source in daily life with movement, drawing, freewriting, voice, etc.
- Realign the deep patterns orienting our lives, so that we can fulfil our purpose and dreams
- Deepen our connection with the Spirit of Life itself, by opening our hearts to the power and energy of Nature, the Sacred, and our Community
In returning to our centre and Source, connecting to our inner resources, clarifying our direction, and opening to our relationships, the Leader's 'Way' unfolds natrually through us.
