INTRODUCTION
Level Two of the Transformational Coaching programme is for those who would like to go deeper into the learning process and help others not only improve their learning abilities, but realign the beliefs and attitudes impacting their learning.
In Level Two, we explore the meeting of performance and alignment in the client's unfolding capabilities. We consider how to support the learning process in the client, both in terms of developing knowledge and skills and in terms of learning to free up the limiting patterns of thinking and behaviour arising from previous learning.
The course works on two levels. Participants will learn how to support the learning of others and influence the limiting frames that they they have placed around their abilities. At the same time, they will better understand and positiively influence their own learrning process and mental frames.
In the First Unit, we develop modelling skills to help clients refine their skills and abilities, while in the Second Unit, we develop the abilities needed to work with the deep patterns of the client, particularly the underlying beliefs and assumptions that shape both the strengths and weaknesses of the client.
First Unit: Learning About Learning: Coaching and Modelling
- The Learning Process: Patterning; Modelling, and Applying
- Levels of Learning: Surface and Deep Learning
- The Nature of Pattern and Role of Patterning in Learning
- Thinking and Working Holistically as a Coach with the Unified Field Theory of Development
- Multi-Levelled Thinking and Multiple Perspectives in Patterning and Modelling
- Exploring the Problem Space of a Client and Clarification of Developmental Outcomes with the SCORE Model
- Modelling Capabilities
Second Unit: The Further Reaches of Learning: Working with Beliefs
- The Nature and Influence of Beliefs
- Beliefs and Organizing Principles Sustaining Both Abilities and Limitations
- Conversational Belief Work: Sleight of Mouth Patterns
- Advanced Questioning: Patterning Questions
- Opening Up the Epistemological Roots of Beliefs and Allowing New Understandings to Emerge
