The core programme of the International Academy for Transformational Coaching and Leadership is a four-level diploma training in Transformational Coaching and Leadership.

DIPLOMA IN TRANSFORMATIONAL COACHING AND LEADERSHIP
With NLP and the Way of Unfolding
- Supporting Change, Learning, and Growth in Self and Others -

How things develop in each moment and over time constitute 'the Way of Unfolding'. In our lives, the Way is reflected on different levels, as we change, learn, and grow in response to what is happening both in the now and over time.

The Diploma in Transformational Coaching and Leadership training focuses progressively on these different levels of unfolding, so that the coach can recognize them and work with them appropriately, both according to the particular need of the client and where he or she is in the process of development.

Level One - Change Facilitating Change: Enhancing Performance and Alignment

In Level One, we introduce the guiding principles of performance and alignment. Level One is focused on the process of change. We learn how to identify and support changes in behaviour that can impact performance. We learn how to help the client make such changes in a way that he or she is fully in alignment with them.

In the First Unit, we emphasize change in outer behaviour, while in the Second Unit, we learn how to influence the key patterns in how we think and perceive. In these first two units, we develop the essential micro communication skills and models for understanding and engaging with the client's world.

Level Two - Learning Unfolding Excellence: Accelerated Learning When Performance Meets Alignment

In Level Two, we explore the meeting of performance and alignment in the client's unfolding capabilities. We consider how to support the learning process in the client, both in terms of developing knowledge and skills and in terms of learning to free up the limiting patterns of thinking and behaviour arising from previous learning.

In the First Unit, we develop modelling skills to help clients refine their skills and abilities. In the Second Unit, we develop the abilities needed to work with the deep patterns of the client, particularly the underlying beliefs and assumptions that shape both the strengths and weaknesses of the client.

In these units, we also develop the larger order patterns of thinking and communication for managing the coaching process as a whole and for elegantly handling the complexity of the client's world.

Level Three - Growth Dynamics of Deep Transformation: Tuning Into and Influencing the Life Patterns and Personal Epistemology of Clients

In Level Three, we invite a deepening embedding of performance within alignment, as we ripen personally and professionally. We help the practising coach bring his or her skills to a new level of integration. We consider the nature of growth and how to support it in the client through the process of Re-Patterning.

In the First Unit, we learn how to identify the very deepest patterns and polarities at the heart of the client's way of being in the world and explore how to make these the source of greater strength and coherence in the client's personal and professional life.

In the Second Unit, we learn how to identify and provide pertinent feedback to the client based on the client's own deep choreography. We situate coaching interventions in the broader picture of his or her development and consider how to integrate problematic elements arising from the client's deep patterns in the natural process of growth unfolding over time.

Level Four - Unfolding Supporting Change, Learning, and Growth in Groups and Larger Systems

If, Levels One to Three equip the coach with the skills and frames to help individuals appropriately identify and realize their personal and professional aspirations, in Level Four, we consider individual development in the context of the larger systems in which he or she is embedded.

Level Four equips the coach to understand and work with the performance and alignment of groups and teams. Level Four aims to deepen the qualities of leadership in the coach, while supporting the unfolding of leadership qualities among members of the groups, teams, and organizations he or she is assisting.

We seed development of the personal qualities that will bring the process of coaching to a new level of mastery and at the same time allow participants to help unfold the same qualities in others. Level Four prepares the coach to become a coach of coaches.
